This is a great opportunity to be part of and own a piece of a movie. You're investing in a edge of your seat horror/action feature film, "Shadows of the Dark", in the English language, of approximately 95 minutes. Investor will receive 100% plus 20% of the money he/she put in, from monies received from the sales, after all production expenses have been paid, before producers receive any money. Then, profits will be split in 30% to investor and 70% to producers. Your name will also be in the credits. According to The Hollywood Reporter, horror is the most profitable genre around. You can make a horror movie for less than US$5 million and when they work, you get an "Insidious", a "Sinister", it can go to gross US$100 million. And horror plays equally well with male and female audiences. Once we achieve the minimum budget goal (US$3.2M), we will commence pre-production - 6 weeks - preliminary budget and scheduling, secure lodging, airfare, rentals, props, permits and locations, hire crew, cast (including at least a couple of recognizable actors), rehearse and final preparations. Principal photography will take 35 days. Post-production: editing, visual effects, foley, sound design, scoring (music), ADR, sound mixing, color grading – 3 to 4 months. We will keep everyone involved informed of the progress and of its process, from pre-production, during filming, post-production, premiere and etc. Synopsis: House sitting in a remote part of town, a young woman and her friends discover the house is part of a sinister, powerful global elite's secret society's and their otherworldly leader's contemptible ritual, taking place in the woods. The story is contemporary and occurs anywhere / any-town USA. It will be fast paced, dynamic, with a crescendo intensity... sprinkled with some humor and brief pauses to evolve characters or handle expositional beats. Always involving the audience. The first scene in the movie already grabs the audience with its intensity. A chase scene in a cave which ends underwater. Project's Strenghts: Strong genre... Popular content such as paranormal activities, fights and shootouts... Strong female characters. Targets teenagers and young adults, the largest theater going demographic... Besides the 4 main characters, there are interesting supporting ones, which makes it attractive for recognizable actors to do a cameo...
